Valle Nevado is a Resort that is frequently visited by the upper class of neighboring countries. One third of their visitors come from Chile, Argentina and Brazil. This destination resort will also attract a few North Americans and Europeans, keeping it a well kept secret. Expect to invest well in your visit, and plan on it being a memorable time. The geography of these mountains undiscovered. They are immense, powerful and worthy of exploration. With a heli-ski operation, three other resorts with in hiking distance, and the largest terrain in South America, one could spend many days here. Valle Nevado also boasts a stop on the 2002 World Cup Circuit. The race will be held in September 2001. Incidentally, this happens to be the last race qualifiers can attempt to make the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
